Julia is  a Montessori teacher and a bilingual educator.  She got her Master’s degree in Linguistics and Cross-Cultural Communications from Udmurt State University, Russia. Julia have worked as an ESL teacher in Russia, Sunday School teacher in the Kansas City area, and a director and English teacher in a Summer Camp in Votkinsk, Russia.  She is currently working at Clay-Platte Montessori School and teaching Russian during after-school hours. Russian language immersion classes she offers at Clay-Platte nurture love for language learning, increase phonological awareness and cognitive thinking.
