Russian Heritage Society welcomed Slava Korolenkov from Moscow.
Slava Korolenkov, master painter, impressionist from Moscow visited Kansas City again to lead the workshop for many local and out of state artists. Slava had a demonstration lesson and created the masterpiece of the Memorial Building. Followed by a 5 day intensive learning workshop that included still life, figure, portrait and of course landscape.

As a member of Mid America Asian Cultural Association (MAACA) we were proud to represent Russian at the Asian Festival!
Jane Romanova-Hrenchir also was one of the organizers of Miss Asia contest and was happy to coordinate backstage process and help contestants with their runway routine.

Nonprofit leaders Jane and Dan presented the traditional musical instruments, old Russian shoes, beautiful scarfs and talked about the culture at the premiere of the New Broadway Musical “Anastasia” in Kansas city on March 12, 2019.

Russian Heritage Society team showed off colorful traditional costumes and talked about the upcoming festival.
KANSAS CITY, MO — The Russian Heritage Society brings a little piece of Russian history and culture to the Kansas City Metro. Society Founder and President Jane Romanova-Hrenchir discusses the organization and the Russian-American Festival, coming up on April 14. She is joined by a group of models who show off traditional Russian attire. We also talk about other upcoming events the society is involved with, such as the Asian Festival and International Day of the Child.

Our annual Holiday Celebration for children! Children were excited to help find the Snow Maiden and save her from evil characters they met on their way!
Ежегодный детский праздник наконец-то состоялся! Дед Мороз(Алексей Глазырин) пришёл на помощь детям и подсказал им как пробраться в сказочный лес, чтобы спасти от злого Кащея (Григорий Вылегжанин) Снегурочку (Евангелина Рэнчир), Баба Яга (Мария Бриджуотер) и Кот Матвей (Александр Чадлиев) всеми силами пытались остановить Машу (Маргарита Саевич) и Витю (Стефан Кулешов – Ледбеттер), которые смело отправились в опасную дорогу! Змей Горыныч(Семён Косухин) грозился спалить всё вокруг, но детям удалось убежать от него, а добрая Васелиса(Ксения Косухина) всегда оказывалась рядом, когда Маше и Вите нужна была помощь! И даже когда слуги Кащея Илья Рэнчир и Дэниел Рэнчир схватили Машу в царстве Кащея, догадливая Маша сумела найти выход из ситуации излечив сильную зубную боль Кащея волшебной конфетой! В нашей сказке был прекрасный весёлый конец с песнями и танцами, где Снегурочка снова встретилась с детьми и дедом Морозом, Маша и Витя доказали всем, что дружба творит чудеса, а дружный коллектив на сцене и за кадром был счастлив подарить детям праздник!
